George Standard team takes part in Chisinau Marathon 2026

On Sunday, 13 September 2026, Chișinău once again hosted the largest running event in the Republic of Moldova. More than 10,000 participants from 59 countries set off through the streets of the capital, despite the rain and cold that accompanied race morning. And, as always when it comes to energy and commitment, the George Standard team did not stay on the sidelines.

Colleagues from our team put on their George Standard T-shirts and took to the course in the city centre: one of them ran the 10 km race, while the others covered the 5 km distance. It wasn’t about times or rankings, but about something else – taking a step together, outside the office and away from the daily routine.

The rain stopped no one. On the contrary, it added energy to the moment: smiles, medals proudly raised at the finish line and group photos. “Movement. Great people. Shared values.” – that is how our colleagues themselves described Sunday’s experience, and that phrase says everything you need to know about team spirit at George Standard.

Over the years, Chisinau Marathon has become a symbol of the city’s energy: an event that brings together professional runners, amateurs and families, promoting an active lifestyle. For us, taking part was not just about sport, but about showing once again that George Standard is more than a team – it is a close-knit community that chooses to grow, support one another and celebrate together, whether in business projects or a marathon in the rain.
