George Standard officially enters the Romanian market

George Standard, a local producer with over 19 years of experience, has obtained official approval to export its products to the Romanian market. Following a rigorous sanitary-veterinary and European compliance assessment, the company has been added to the list of producers from the Republic of Moldova authorised to supply food products to the EU market.
This achievement marks a major milestone in the brand’s development and confirms the quality, safety and transparency of its production processes.

What does this approval mean? Approval to export to Romania and the European Union demonstrates that:

• George Standard products comply with European sanitary and veterinary regulations;
• The internal quality control system is validated at EU level;
• Traceability is complete and verified;
• PB Nord SRL’s infrastructure meets all requirements for handling, processing and packaging.

Products approved for export. George Standard is currently authorised to export:

• Fresh Class A eggs – in trays and packs for Retail and HoReCa.
• Selected poultry products – supplied according to the specifications of the Romanian market

These products are made exclusively in Moldova at PB Nord SRL (Edineț), a modernised facility equipped with advanced technology. The first deliveries have already been made.
The company has shipped its first official batches to partners in Romania, strengthening its position as a Moldovan producer able to deliver consistently and in large volumes. Deliveries include:

• 30-egg HoReCa trays
• Retail packs
• Batches for local and regional distributors

How EU approval was obtained. The authorisation process included:

• A technical audit of PB Nord SRL’s infrastructure
• Assessment of internal hygiene and safety processes
• Validation of full traceability
• Sanitary-veterinary testing and inspections
• Compliance with European regulations on the handling and transport of food products
